Student Spotlight: Xzavier Brandon

 

Xzavier Brandon, a native of Greenwood, MS, is a summa cum laude graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Propulsion. In the summer of 2019, he worked as a strategy analyst with Accenture.

 

Leadership Positions:

  • National Society of Black Engineers Programs Chairperson (2016-2017)
  • AAMU Honors Program Public Relations Liaison (2018-2019)
  • Advancing Minorities’ Interest in Engineering Ambassador (2016-Present)
  • Management Leadership for Tomorrow Recruiting Captain (2018-Present)
  • Editor of the Sphinx for the Delta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

 

He is also a member of the University’s Honors Program, Math Club, National Science Foundation (NSF) Scholarship Cohort I, S.T.E.M. Star Scholars Cohort IV, Alpha Chapter of Eta Kappa Tau Engineering and Technology Fraternity, Inc., and the Delta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
