Her most celebrated service was her Health is L.I.T. (Learning, Inspiring, Thriving) program, an initiative she founded and implemented at the James A. Lane Boys and Girls Club during her freshman and sophomore years. The program became a movement inspiring youth to eat nutritious foods and have fun with exercise. Health is L.I.T. was designed to address childhood obesity and promote personal and environmental health literacy. She, and other honors program scholars facilitated her series of engaging presentations at other Boys and Girls Clubs in the area.
