Jada La’Shae Bibb is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with a major in Biology and Pre-Health concentration from Autaugaville, Alabama. Ms. Bibb is the daughter of Jerome Earl Bibb and Anita Patrice Debardelaben. One of her many goals is to become an obstetrician-gynecologist and practice medicine in a rural area that reminds her of home. While working towards her goal, she was a part of several organizations on campus including Alabama A&M University’s Honors Program, Business Industry Student Cluster, Pre- Professional Health Association (PPHA), Alabama Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Scholar, Eta Kappa Tau Engineering and Technology Fraternity, Inc., AAMU Chapter of Alabama Student Rural Health Association (ASRHA), Beta Kappa Chi National Honor Society (BKX), National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and the Chemistry Club. As an active leader on campus, she served as the 2017- 2018 Miss Honors, 2018- 2019 Miss Junior, 2019-2020 President of PPHA, 2020 Vice President and 2019 Secretary of BKX, as well as 2017-2018 Membership Chair and 2018-2019 Historian of ASRHA. Jada also researched the AAMU Advancing Success in STEM Undergraduate Research and Education Program for two and a half academic years and presented research at two national conferences. She has received a presidential award for academics since starting at Alabama A&M University consisting of the 2017 Freshman President’s Award, 2018 Gold Presidential Medallion, and 2019-2020 Silver Presidential Medallion. Aside from Jada’s academics, she has participated in four summer internships and/or programs concerning her career since graduating from high school. Upon graduation, Jada will be participating in the University of South Alabama’s Diversity Recruitment and Enrichment for Admission into Medicine (DREAM) program, working part-time as a Scribe at Huntsville Hospital and applying for Fall 2021 admissions into medical school.

 

Service: Despite Jada’s abundant accomplishments, she is most proud of her record of service. She has volunteered at the annual St. Jude events and Regency Retirement Village. She also assisted in coordinating multiple service activities at Harbor Chase Assisted Living Facility.
